JRS acquires Allspan

J. Rettenmaier & Söhne GmbH in Rosenberg has acquired the majority holding in litter manufacturer Allspan. Allspan has been processing timber offcuts from the timber industry for 40 years, primarily to produce pet hygiene products.

According to JRS, the company will continue to service its various sales markets independently. To do this, Allspan will operate independently in the market with its own management, strategy and policy.

In parallel with this, JRS intends to drive further market expansion via JRS's own global distribution networks with the "TierWohl" horse box and riding ring product line and "Chipsi" small animal pet products.
