The Nutriment Company (TNC) has announced its expansion into the Spanish market with the acquisition of Puromenu, one of Spain's leading raw pet food manufacturers. This is TNC's third acquisition in 2025.
Puromenu was founded in 2014 by Magda Kayali and Raul Zamorano. The company has experienced rapid growth in recent years, according to TNC, driven by its product offering, which includes gently cooked fresh meats, raw patties and sausages, as well as treats, chews and supplements for dogs and cats. The range also features the use of vegetable ferments and probiotics to improve digestibility and palatability, setting a new standard in pet nutrition. Each Puromenu product is made from 100 per cent natural ingredients and meets the National Research Council (NRC) nutritional standard.
TNC aims to expand Puromenu's product offering and provide a one-stop-shop for retailers, large and small, who will now have access to more TNC products in a single shipment.
