Founded in 2005, Qingdao Ideal today manufactures and supplies a wide range of products – from dried meat treats and rawhide chews to wet food and dried food – to partners in more than 20 countries. The company is well aware that its own success depends on the growth of its customers’ brands, and is continuously improving its products and service to meet customers’ expectations. The OEM’s own label – Petideal – is also becoming increasingly popular in China, with annual sales growth of 150% and accolades including the ‘Annual Innovative Brand Award’ in 2014 and ‘Supplier of the Year Award’ in 2017.
The goal
The goal of Petideal is to become the number-one pet food supplier in China based on its vision: ‘For better connecting with pets’. The company’s key missions are to produce healthy treats for pets and to create and capture more value for customers.

Ever since the start of the company, Qingdao Ideal has been pursuing growth together with partners, and it cherishes the cooperation with many top brands. It also helps start-up companies by offering small minimum order quantities, flexible payment terms and combined shipments, which has already helped many start-up companies to become big players in their markets.

SPIA
In 2017, Qingdao Ideal was a founding member of the Shandong Pet Industry Association (SPIA) to promote the development of China’s pet industry and support industry self-regulation and standards. By 2019, SPIA had more than 300 members. The annual meeting of SPIA has become the primary gathering of the Chinese pet industry.
