AgroBiothers group has appointed Matthieu Lambeaux as CEO. His appointment is part of AgroBiothers growth strategy on the European market.
Matthieu Lambeaux, 50, has held significant leadership positions in the agro-industry and played a major role in growth strategies. He started his career in 1994 at Unilever Bestfoods and then served as a senior marketer at Campbell Soup Company. Matthieu joined the Findus Group in 2001 as European Marketing Director leading growth during five years. He was named General Manager of Findus France in 2005. At this position he successfully pioneered a new model of product innovation and sustainability (palm oil removal, 2009; sustainable fishing MSC, 2007) which has enabled a significant growth with sales up 300% and took Findus from n°4 to n°1 within three years on the frozen food market.
Matthieu also built a European presence of Findus in Europe by acquiring 5 businesses (Findus Spain and Mochov from Ardo, Lutosa from Mc Cain, La Cocinera from Nestlé, Frudesa from Bonduelle) creating Findus Southern Europe (France, Spain, Belgium, eastern Europe…) which he managed as CEO.
In October 2015, Matthieu was named CEO of St Mamet, the french leader in fruit processing. At this position, he transformed the company making it a French model of fair trade and a profitable business within two years.
Most recently (2018-2020), Matthieu led and managed the entry of the D’aucy group (Eureden) into the ultra-fresh market through the acquisition of the “shop in shop” of fresch cut fruits and vegetables, La Fraîcherie.
