Dehner is restructuring its corporate group. Together with all other shareholders, the Weber family has decided on a fundamental change in the organisation, according to a press release. Under the new strategy, the business segments that are currently combined in the GmbH & Co. KG structure are to be demerged in favour of a flexible holding structure. The garden centres, Agrar, Degro and logistics segments will be spun off as legally autonomous profit centres in the form of GmbH & Co. KGs under the umbrella of Dehner Holding GmbH & Co. KG.
It is reported in the press release that the aim of restructuring is to strengthen the competitiveness of the individual business segments, increase their transparency and raise the motivation of the employees by giving them the power to make decisions in their own business unit.The company has given an assurance that all 5 000 employees are to continue working in their own business segments.
