Benevo is an award winning brand owned by Vegeco Ltd, a vegetarian company established in 2003 by brothers Damian, a vegan for over 20 years, and Darrell, a vegetarian for over 20 years.
Rather than fight capitalism and campaign on the streets for change, we believed change could come from being ethical industrialists, offering solutions through business to those wanting a change. So with ?00 of stock, a spare room and website site we set off!
We knew what we wanted from the start and are able to make choices based on those ethics. 15 years later, we have pioneered meat-free pet food and Benevo can be found in around 30 countries. We turned ?00 into ?m+ and we’re still an independent family business.
In 2018, Benevo won a Queens Award for Enterprise for International Trade - the highest business award in the UK.
