To be optimally prepared for the future, Heinsberg company Sera says it has been engaged in a complex transformation process for roughly two years now. Based on extensive internal analysis, various measures are being taken, including restructuring of the sales function. Sera wants to be even better, and customer satisfaction should always be the first priority.
In Switzerland, where the company has worked hitherto with wholesaler Alfauna AG, Sera has decided on a new direction from 9 May. It now has a strong new partner on board in Wohlen-based Plantex AG to consolidate its market position in the country.
“We look forward to growing further with Sera and ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality products to Switzerland,” says Marcel Weber, managing director of Plantex, regarding the new relationship. Plantex has the optimal set-up with five warehouses, a large network, extensive experience of the sector and specialist expertise.
“The Swiss market has considerable potential. Our aim is to evolve further here and we are sure we have found exactly the right partner to achieve this goal in Plantex AG: professional, well connected, and ambitious yet sympathetic at the same time. We are extremely optimistic about the future,” says Simon Gierlings, head of sales and marketing at Sera.
