The company delivered $1.15B (€1B) in net sales, a 4% against the same period of 2021.
North American sales accounted for $696M (€659M), an increase of 10%. Sales of its prescription management portfolio for veterinarians increased by 24% to $140M (€132.7M)
In addition to the “momentum” of the North American market, the performance of the company in Europe decreased by 5% against last year.
Covetrus reached $344M (€326.1M) in net sales mainly linked to the weakness of the British market. Germany delivered sales growth for the second consecutive quarter, the company said.
Sales in APAC and other emerging markets remained flat at $112M (€106.8M), with some organic net sales growth in Brazil and New Zealand.
In 2021, the company ranked 593 on the Fortune 1000 list of the largest United States corporations by total revenue.
