Yarrah Organic Petfood is the first Dutch manufacturer of organic dog and cat food to introduce recyclable packaging. The company has announced that all packaging for dry food is to consist of monoplastic with immediate effect. Its bags will thus be completely recyclable.
The new bags of the two Yarrah brands Yarrah and Dano came onto the market in April. They are made of monopolyethylene, a material consisting of just one type of plastic, rendering them fully recyclable. The new bags can be melted down by waste processing companies and reused for new products.
