PsiBufet enlisted the help of pet nutritionist Dr. Olga Lasek from the University of Agriculture Kraków, Department of Animal Nutrition and Dietetics, who developed recipes that meet the standards of the European Association of Pet Food Producers.
CEO Piotr Wawrysiuk, who began the business with his mum and sister, said: “It all started with a family business and a love of animals. Soon our crazy idea was very well received by the first customers.”
The company received funding early in 2020 that allowed them to move production to a factory in Warsaw and rapid expansion followed.
All the owners have to do is fill in a few simple questions about their pet such as weight and allergies then an algorithm will do the rest.
The owner will receive deliveries fortnightly and the food that is hermetically sealed can be stored in the fridge.
