It's now decided, Interzoo will not be held from 19 to 22 May. This was announced by the Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe (WZF) and NürnbergMesse in a joint press release.
Due to the dynamic nature of the event and its unforeseeable consequences of the corona virus, WZF and NürnbergMesse are not in a position to adequately guarantee the health safety of all exhibition participants during Interzoo in May, the press release stresses. The postponement was also based on the recommendation of the World Health Organization (WHO).
"This unfortunately makes it impossible to hold Interzoo in May," says Alexandra Facklamm, Managing Director of WZF. "Together with NürnbergMesse we are now working to find an alternative date."
