Intratuin aims to grow in Germany
Apr 11, 2015
The Dutch garden centre franchise group Intratuin expects to attract and convert around 50 garden centres to its system in Germany in the near future. This was the figure cited by managing director Peter Paul Kleinbussink, although he added that “we are not in any hurry. We have to get used to the German market, to German customers and German operators.” Kleinbussink denied reports suggesting that the group had plans to expand into France and Spain.
The first German member of Intratuin, the garden centre operator Moubis, joined the Dutch group at the start of the year and has switched both its stores close to Münster to this distribution system.
