Interzoo, the world’s biggest pet supplies fair, continues to grow. According to the provisional closing report on the four-day show, which has just finished in Nuremberg, the number of trade visitors increased by 2 per cent compared with 2012 to over 37 000. The number of foreign visitors increased by 7 per cent, while the figure for German visitors declined by 8 per cent, a fall that was less than expected by the organiser. The most trade visitors came from Germany, Italy, France, Great Britain, Spain, Poland and the Netherlands.
Exhibitor numbers were also up by 12 per cent at the show. 1 720 exhibitors from over 60 countries presented their products and services at Interzoo.
