Kannis Pet Food is all about the ingredients

No compromise is made here, and starting at the beginning we make it clear that quality is the most important feature of our food. So that is why we start with animal meat meal as the first ingredient. We want to provide a good source of protein, and that is why we do not use fresh chicken, that is mainly made up from water. Instead, we use the ground chicken that has the water extracted, thereby giving a more concentrated chicken meal with 3 x more protein. Lamb and white fish are also used as a source protein meats.

Only using ingredients that are hypoallergenic is important to us as well, because so many pets suffer from skin and other allergies that if we can help to ease any potential problems related to diet then we feel it is our duty to do so.

Alfalfa: for immune system
Fish oils, sunflower seeds & linseed: for omega-3 fatty acids
Seaweed, for minerals
Garlic: for flavour
Yucca extract, cranberry, prebiotics: for digestive system

Magnesium, calcium, phosphorus: essential minerals for strong bones & teeth
Glucosamine, chondroitin & MSM: for joints & cartilage

As can be seen, this is a formula that is designed for specific needs in an animal. We do not follow the latest fads in pet food that are not conclusively based on solid evidence, we follow a natural approach to nutrition that has - feeding the UK¡¯s pets the way that nature originally intended.

Our product is an honest and wholesome food, and as such is not filled up with cheap filler products, offal or any ingredients deemed unsuitable for animal consumption.
