Pet food manufacturer Alphia has announced the appointment of John Bear as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Bear will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company, including operational strategies, ensuring efficiency in achieving business objectives, improving internal processes, crisis management and more.

Bear brings 33 years of pet food manufacturing experience from his previous leadership roles at Nestlé Purina.
