The Zolux Group has set up a new subsidiary in Abrera in Spain, 20 km from Barcelona. The French family company states that the 3 600 m² warehouse of Zolux Iberia will secure the distribution in Spain and Portugal of approximately 3 500 products of the Zolux and Laboratoire Francodex brands for all families of pets.
Zolux Iberia was born out of the partnership between the Zolux Group and the Spanish firm Pisciber Bio Secure Fishes, which specialises in the import and distribution of ornamental fish and other aquatic creatures. Pisciber, established in the Spanish market for 10 years, is the result of a merger between the two largest live animal distributors for Spanish pet stores.
Zolux Iberia will have a dedicated team of 7 marketing representatives as part of its workforce. The company will be attending the Iberzoo + Propet trade show in Madrid, which will be staged on 15-17 March.
