New managers at Das Futterhaus

Sep 8, 2022
The corporate group Das Futterhaus has further strengthened its personnel. Three new managers started in September: Sven von Saenger, the new head of own brands, Inga Kober, the new head of marketing, and Dirk Brüggemann, the new head of franchise management. The exclusive brand business is to be further expanded and intensified under von Saenger. The new man can look back on more than 14 years in the Otto group. His senior positions in purchasing, controlling and in category management in particular, have given him many years of experience in the fields of development of product ranges and own brands.

Kober is taking over the management of marketing. The main task of her new position, in addition to traditional retail advertising, will be to support the own brands and in particular the translation of communication onto digital media. For the past five years, Inga Kober has been leading the marketing and online operations of the office supplies retailer Staples. According to Das Futterhaus, in addition to decades of leadership experience, she brings a broad range of knowledge in brand management, omni-channel marketing, customer loyalty programmes/CRM as well as digital transformation and e-commerce. She has previously been CEO of a sustainability consultancy and has worked for 15 years in various positions in national and international consumer goods marketing at Tchibo and Bahlsen.

Brüggemann, the new head of franchise management at Das Futterhaus, will specifically take care of the expansion of the franchise business with a focus on partner management. With more than 25 years of management experience in renowned, internationally operating franchise companies, he brings with him extensive knowledge from retail and franchise development. Prior to his new position, he worked as operations director at Abento KG, an owner-operated corporate consultancy with its own catering brands. Previous positions include 4Fingers, General Mills, Häagen-Dazs and McDonalds.
