The company invested €150,000 in its 20th megastore located in Miroslava, 400 km north of the capital Bucharest, with 400 square meters and over 3,000 products available.
Last February, Agroland announced its aim to invest €3.44 million in expansion and upgrades this year.
“Our plan is to reach a total of 25 megastores by the end of the year. Our goal is to become the Romanians' favorite retailer for all activities related to gardening and hobby farming, as well as pet products," claimed entrepreneur Horia Cardos, founder and CEO of Agroland Business System.
The company forecasts revenue of €48.7 million in 2022, up from €47.3 million in 2021.
Agroland Business System is a Romanian entrepreneurial company, which owns the largest network of agricultural stores in the country. Founded in 2009 by Horia Cardos it currently operates a network of 250 stores specializing in the sale of garden, farm, and pet products.
