On 1 March, M&B Handelsagentur assumed responsibility for distributing the products of Dutch garden pond company Velda in Austria. Maria Brenn and Bernd Heimen have extensive experience of the pet supplies sector and represent brands including Animonda, Das Lederband and Petgard in the country. Up to the end of 2019, M&B Handelsagentur also took care of Austrian customers of the Söll company.
With the support of M&B Handelsagentur, Velda believes it has good prospects of making inroads into the Austrian market. It says it is the market leader in the garden pond business in the Benelux states, offering a full range of products in the pond segment.
