The leading US online retailer of pet products, Chewy, plans to open a corporate office in the Seattle region by the end of the year and intends to hire several hundred staff for technology, product and merchandising roles. This is what different online newsletters are reporting.
Dania Beach/Florida based Chewy also has corporate offices in Minneapolis and Boston. The company, which has more than 18 000 employees overall, also operates various fulfilment and customer service locations.
In July 2020, the company said it planned to open a fulfilment centre in Missouri at a cost of over 143 mio dollars. The locations would complement eight other warehouse locations scattered throughout the US.
