The Dutch family business Vobra Special Petfoods is expanding its operations with a new factory next to its existing factory in Veghel. This will increase the company's production capacity by 50% and create more opportunities to meet the rapidly growing global demand for its dog and cat food products. ”Among other things, the new site will house a third production line, an additional warehouse and more office space, so we can continue to offer the support, service and high quality that clients have come to expect”, says general director Edwin Roelands.
This expansion marks an important step for Vobra. It gives the company room to grow and develop. The new factory will house the latest state-of-the-art production technology. It will also allow the company to package its products in smaller quantities. The existing production site, which houses Vobra's research department, will continue to operate alongside the new building.
Opening
Construction of the new facility began in December. The official opening is scheduled for Monday 4 October 2021 to coincide with World Animal Day. Vobra Special Petfoods expects to start trial runs in the new factory in the summer of 2021.
