The Fressnapf Group intends to distribute its exclusive brands through international partners in future. The aim is to increase the spread of these exclusive brands significantly while building up a network of cooperative relationships in the pet retail business. These relationships could also be extended to other areas. Fressnapf is looking to secure partners outside Europe as well.
The retail chain presents the Croatian pet product retailer Zoo Hobby as its first strategic partner. The latter has been active in the pet food field since 1974 and has around 20 stores (Zoo City) plus a wholesale operation in Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia. The Fressnapf Group will initially offer products from its exclusive Premiere and MultiFit brands to customers in the Zoo Hobby stores with immediate effect. Other brands will also be distributed at a later stage.
