The new 7 000 m² production plant will enable the company to double its production capacity.
The organic food manufacturer Herrmann's Manufaktur has relocated to the south-east of Munich. Its new 7 000 m² production plant will enable the company to double its production capacity.
A photovoltaic facility will generate power from solar energy, while around 2 million litres of water will be saved annually by a water recycling system, according to managing director Erich Herrmann. He established the company with his late wife Karin back in 2006.
Herrmann's Manufaktur is currently looking at installing woodchip heating. "Even the packaging from our raw materials procurement is recycled," says Erich Herrmann.
The company has 59 permanent employees and manufactures a range of 92 products.
