Delbard has implemented a new store concept in 13 of its 47 outlets. The company intends to revamp 12 further stores each year with the new design, which was created in collaboration with eight franchisees and is intended to appeal primarily to the large proportion of female customers. Each product range, such as plants, equipment and pets, has been assigned a separate colour.
Delbard estimates that refurbishing its stores will cost the franchisees between 8 000 and 9 000 euros. All outlets should have been revamped within three years.
