Tiendanimal had intended to open 65 stores by the end of last year, but expansion is continuing.
The Spanish pet store chain Tiendanimal opened its 50th store in Lleida on 22 March. It is the first store in the province of Lérida and the seventh in Catalonia.
The company had originally announced that it intended to open as many as 65 stores by the end of 2018. Tiendanimal opened its 49th outlet in neighbouring Portugal at the beginning of this year.
