The latest Anido has rounded off a successful 20th edition with 4 955 visitors from 17 different countries: 3 057 visitors on the Sunday and 1 898 on Monday. This represents a slight increase of 2.6 per cent over the two days. No less than 26 per cent of the visitors came from outside Belgium, especially the Netherlands (14 per cent) and France (10 per cent).
This year, the event had 988 m² more stand area (+16 per cent) than in 2016, filling a fourth hall for the first time. At the New@Anido stand, visitors could cast their vote on Sunday for the best new products. 53 new products launched on the market after 1 September 2017 were entered for the competition. In the Food category, the first place went to Ice Cream Mix for Dogs by Smoofl. Dental XS by Nestlé Purina came second, while third place went to Riverwood 100% natural dog nutrition by Johnson Petfoods. The winner in the Care & Accessories category was the Tipi Mohaki & Tipi Kioni tents by Beeztees, second place went to Relaxopet by Quinmo and Oropharma Disinfect Spray by Versele-Laga was placed third.
The 21st edition of Anido will be held on 16-17 February 2020 in Kortrijk Xpo.
