The Austrian pet store chain Tomy's Zoo will not be acquired by Fressnapf. The Austrian Federal Competition Authority (BWB) has reported that Fressnapf has withdrawn its application for a merger.
As a result, the Competition Authority has withdrawn an examination request to the Cartel Court. This request to the Cartel Court was made by the Competition Authority on 25 August in light of competition concerns.
