Arcadia Products has merged with Aquarium Systems

Aquarium Systems and Arcadia Products are delighted to announce they have joined forces in a strategic merger. This merger will bring to the trade a formidable company, focussed on premium products that maximise animal welfare as much as possible.

Gerard Oates, MD of Arcadia Products, said: “We have been distributing Aquarium Systems products in the UK since 2011 and realised there were many advantages in working closer together.”

The brands will continue to be marketed to consumers separately, and but the marketing to the trade will be jointly managed. The companies will combine logistics where possible.

Thomas Bertschy, MD of Aquarium Systems, said: “Following this strategic merger, customers will receive a better service, as they will benefit from increased investment in research and development, and export deliveries will be quicker and cheaper. One order and one invoice will be the ultimate objective for joint export business."

Coincidently, both brands are celebrating their 50th anniversaries this year.
