Pets at Home appoints Nick Wood as Chief Executive

Pets at Home is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Wood as Chief Executive. This move follows the decision by current CEO Matt Davies, announced in October 2011, to step down to pursue other opportunities. Matt will remain at Pets at Home until 24 April.

Nick Wood joins Pets at Home from American Golf, the private equity backed specialty retailer, where he was CEO since 2008. Before American Golf, Nick spent ten years with DSG International plc (now Dixons Retail), where he held a number of senior management roles.
