FURminator integrated into Tetra Europe

In December 2011, United Pet Group (UPG), a subsidiary of the American group Spectrum Brands, acquired the company FURminator. As part of this worldwide integration into the group, Tetra Europe, which belongs to UPG, will in addition to Tetra and 8in1 take over the responsibility for the sale and distribution of FURminator products in Europe and Asia from 1 April 2012.

FURminator offers an extensive range of high-quality grooming and hygiene products for dogs, cats and other animals. This acquisition is proof that UPG is continuing to follow its group strategy of further developing the pet industry and thus strengthening its market position in the international pet sector.
