Interpet has promoted sales director Mark Hoskins (photo) to the position of commercial director, reporting directly to US parent Central Garden & Pet. Managing director Richard Peters has been made redundant.
The company says the moves are part of a business restructure that reflects the "increasingly close relationship" Interpet has with its parent company, Central Garden & Pet group, since it was purchased in 2004. As one of the largest suppliers and distributors to the trade in the US, Central Garden & Pet says it appreciates the importance of the UK market and the influential role Interpet plays.
Mark has been in the pet and aquatic industry all his working life. He joined Interpet in field sales at the age of 18 and brings a wealth of sector experience to his new role, including supply chain, operations and sales.
