Target Pet holding bought Faunaland

Target pet Holding is owner of Dobey retail (79 shops) and Van Ree (wholesaler). They recently bought Faunaland (94 shops). The reason of the purchase is that there is an increasing number of sales points of pet products via third parties and on the supplier side a concentration is in process. Due to the concentration of both pet retail chains they are focusing on a further concentration in purchase and marketing which has to lead to further efficiency.
