Wahl GmbH in St. Georgen in the Black Forest (Germany) has decided to merge the Wahl Professional and Moser Animal brands at the beginning of 2025. “By merging the two brands, we can utilise many synergies and address our customers with globally developed concepts,” reports Birgit Holz, director of brand & product EMEA at the company. She emphasises that the global brand positioning among professionals, such as vets and groomers, will also benefit pet retailers with this strategic realignment in future.
The Moser Animal brand will be replaced by Wahl Professional in the pet speciality trade. Parts of the previous Moser Animal range will be integrated into the Wahl Professional line. The brand merger will be accompanied by a campaign under the slogans “Together We’re Family” and “Make it with Wahl”.
Changes are also imminent at the company site in St. Georgen. The site in St. Georgen will remain the administrative centre for sales, marketing, IT, finance and HR in the EMEA region. The development and production of cutting sets will also remain in St. Georgen.
“We are positive about the future and look forward to the upcoming changes,” summarised Norman Klinger, director of sales EMEA.
