Pets At Home sees a pick-up in sales growth

Aug 14, 2016
UK based pet company Pets At Home reports a 2.7% sales growth in the first quarter of this year, an impressive increase from last year (1.7%). A growing demand for ‘advanced’ nutritional pet products is named as an important contributor to this surge in sales, together with the company’s expansion of it veterinary and grooming services. Chief executive Ian Kellet, who only recently took the position over from Nick Wood, is very content with this positive development. He says to take confidence from the lasting stability of the pet market in times of economic instability.

In the coming year, Pets At Home aims to open up 20 new Pets At Home superstores, 45 to 55 vet practices and 60 grooming salons.
