I am writing on behalf of Straydog.org, a no-kill dog shelter and sanctuary, to request your support for the 2017 Gala, Dancing and Prancing ?Giving Rescues a Second Chance. This is a very special event to raise money for the everyday care of the animals. The gala will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas.
The Gala will provide support so that Straydog is able to care for the 165 rescues that reside at our campus and who we provide a forever home for. The operational cost for caregiving, food, shelter, maintenance and vet care is budgeted at $800,000 a year.
This will be the first year of our hosting a Gala and the attendance is estimated to be 400 plus. We hope to raise $175,000 to support the services for these rescues that are so very much needed .
We would be very appreciative if you will join us in supporting this much overlooked cause by donating dog related products. These wonderful products would be a great addition to our silent auction and certainly increase the amount raised in our live or silent auction, in addition to bringing awareness to your business.
