In Madrid, Visán owns a Pet Food Production Centre, a Compound Feed Factory, a Quality Control Laboratory and an R&D+i Centre housing several breeds of Cats and Dogs.

At the Laboratory, quality control checks are performed from the moment the raw materials are delivered by our suppliers. Visán feeds are analysed throughout the various preparation stages of the product in order to guarantee a balance in the required nutrients, as well as the correct composition and balance of the final products.

At the Compound Feed Factory, which is entirely separate from the Pet Food Production Centre in accordance with current European legislation, Visán prepares Premium feeds for ovine, bovine, game, poultry, ruminant and Iberian livestock by means of a fully automated and computerised process.

At the Pet Food Production Centre, the company operates the most advanced extrusion technology currently available, which even enables the treatment of fresh and natural ingredients taken from poultry, cattle, pig or fish farming in order to extract all the soluble proteins from these materials and provide end products that are more appetising and natural whilst also being of a consistent texture and crunchy, offering numerous shapes and flavours to awaken the appetite of your pet.

Visán currently employs more than 120 people, including technicians, veterinary experts and production managers.
